Backstage Moves to Culture Grid

Information about performing arts collections, which was available on the website Backstage, have been transferred to Culture Grid, a service run by the Collections Trust. The Backstage database, a joint project between TIG and the University of Kent, held individual entries on institutions and their performing art collections.
To search Culture Grid, go to www.culturegrid.org.uk and type in your search term (e.g., dance). On the results page, click the Refine Your Search button and in the left sidebar choose UK Theatre Collections under the 'collections' heading. This will narrow your search to those institutions and collections transferred from the Backstage database, which included both TIG members and non-members.
